Curriculum

  • There are 7 periods in school. Sports Periods will be extra.
  • Rather than following the system of streaming the students according to their performance, they are randomly divided into sections.
  • Navaa International School goes on for 6 days in a week (each period is referred to as a 'school' of 40 minutes each). Students will be given extra classes afterwards whenever it's needed.
  • The ten minute break between the 2nd and 4th bell refreshes their minds, stretches their limbs and gives them an opportunity to reflect on what has been taught or just chat with friends.
  • Our well-equipped school library subscribes to a variety of newspapers and magazines. Being informed on current affairs is a vital link to the outside world.
  • The Archives provide a rich insight into the school's past, are meticulously maintained and serve as a treasure trove of information for the historically-inclined.

Language Enhancement

  • We use basic phonic sounds as the base of learning. The primary goal of this technique is to teach students to read and understand expressions.
  • Students are taught through a prescribed Central Board o Secondary Education (CBSE) by using its published materials The idea is to prepare students with the best of techniques and latest aids, so that the students of our school remain alway ahead in all fields.
  • The school follows a methodology that combine the best of main stream and innovative methods.

Personality Development

At Navaa International School, we provide exclusive sporting facilities to ensure the holistic development of every child under our care. The School believes in the all-round development of the child and encourages students to pursue an active lifestyle, and provides the latest facilities for all sports and games to cater to their social, physical and emotional growth. It gives equal importance to all sports. We conduct regular inter-house competitions and provide our students with numerous opportunities to compete in tournaments against other schools, as well as participate in district, state and national level competitions.

Debate

Promotes problem solving and innovative thinking, and helps students to build links between words and ideas that make concepts more meaningful.

Elocution

Helps to exhibit oratory skills, develop self-expression and confidence and plays an important role in the formation, articulation and pronunciation of speech.

Etiquette Building

Helps to show respect for others and themselves, build communication skills and learn good manners.

Presentation Skills

Help create innovative ideas when come up with creative and interesting slides to illustrate their talk, and develop students’ confidence.

Public Speaking

Boosts confidence, improves critical thinking and communication skills, helps to be a better listener and learn to argue.

Reading

Enhances brain activity, improves vocabulary, develops critical thinking, increases ability to understand others, and encourages shallow reading.
